hey yo...
yesterday was kinds packed for me... after church and all i ended up bringing my uncle around singapore on a crash course tour 101... haha... you see he comes from vancouver and not till yesterday did he really get to see singapore much and he has been here for like 4days and yesterday was his last day...
so at 5pm our journey had begun... you must be thinking how much can i actually cover within what was left in the day... well... we started at telok ayer where we saw the temples and mosques... then the esplanade where he took some photos of the CBD skyline... we made our way for dinner and carried on down to old parliament house, victoria concert hall , clark quay... then went down to bugis street and educate him on its wild and infamous... then went down to little india... followed by arab street to show him singapore's rich cultural heritage... then to raffels hotel, singapore's oldest hotel and icon which host yet another singapore icon, the sikh door man... and finally ending off at toa payoh satelite town...
now doesnt that sound like alot... well lets just say we talked from 5pm for 8hrs... explaining the rich heritage of each site... and man was it a blast... i never covered so many places so fast before in my life... haha... actually makes me wonder where my aunts and uncles have been bringing him for the past 4 days... all these major historical sites, he has never seen nor heard of them before... haha... well i hope he had a great time...
well actually i kinda decided to be a tourist myself... i was greatly attracted by one of my HTM senior telling me that i am able to get alot of discounts with my tourism academy card... and man are the discounts good... like today i went to play around with the luge and only paid 4 dollars instead of the original fee of 9... was actually quite fun but the slope wasnt as steep nor was the track as long as the one in new zealand but nevertheless still fun... ooops side tracked abit hahah... well yea me tourist... ya i have decided to tour all the attractions of sentosa by the end of this week which includes weekends... woooooot.... i cant wait... i really wanna see and try everything they have... haha... well thats all from me...
