well yesterday was my first day at school... haha luckily the stress and opressive feeling of being under work isnt here yet... i still feel as if i am still having holiday...
well guys heres introducing you to the tourism academy @ sentosa... my new campus... well if you guys didnt know the history of this building, it was actually used as a british barrack during the colonial days... till now you can still see some traces of its heritage around such as the little stumps soldiers used to clean their boots... this place brings about a really nice rustic charm to dilute the stress of school... during tutorial and lectures you can still hear the crickets creaking and birds chirping... now you see why i dont feel like i am in school? it is so much like a urban getaway...
well i guess many of you dont know about why i am so happy that i am here in sentosa eventhough travelling maybe a chore and food edible and expensive... well a few years ago just after the O's i came to this very campus for a closed door tour around the building... our principle knew many of the lecturers and heads in the campus of whom were old boys and initiated a meeting for us to view the campus... once i entered the campus in the back of my mind i told myself... in 2 years time i will study here... i know the results werent out yet but i was determined to make it to this campus as to me this was sorta a signal that i am going into this industry that i love and i am going to do my best in it and God is behind me...
it was not only till i reached the foot hill of the campus yesterday that i realised my dream has come true as i breathed in the fruits of my labour... and for that moment i felt satisfied and my happiness was just undefinable.... i just felt like as if my soul came out of my body and just patted me on my back saying "well done, you made it." and that was good enough for me...
well i was barely able to make it to this campus with my grades but all along throughout my Olevels till now i have a feeling of what God wants me to do and that soon became my dream and that became my goal and God backed me up and supported me all the way through my journey... all i can say is thanks...
