do i really know vietnam? do i really know what the people are like? do i even know a slight insight into their life within just HCMC itself? no i dont... hardly know anything about vietnam... i hardly know what they are going through... i am living in a life of luxurient fantasy... i do not know them... but of what little i know i know that these people are one of the most blessed people on earth... not because they are rich nor have many opportunities... but because in them i see inner happiness without all the worldly things at times even without daily neccessities like food, and yet they are happy... blessed are they who find true happiness in adversity for nothing can pull them down nothing can break them nothing can stop them...
hmmm... why dont we talk about something that resembles me yea... can be a pain on the outside most of the time... thick skinned... and at times makes life stink for many people around and takes some getting used to... however once you get through all that and get to the center of it all inside you would find a soft and flavourful person within... haha okokok enough ego... haha sorry about that... just wanna spice things up... like to see some of you puke now and then... haha... okok cut all the crap... im going to talk about the king of the fruits... the durian... hmm well today i decided to try my hand on some of the local durians in HCMC... all their other fruits were really great so i just had to try one of my favourite fruits... haha... actually i have no favourite... i LOVE THEM ALL...
okok back to that thorny prickly thing... well the vietnamese durians are really different... they kinda look like the thai durians that we get back home however, the durian itself is quite light... compared to the ones back home this is like comparing fish with a beef steak... the flesh is not really creamy at all... but the taste is still the same strong as ever...but strangely it is not really all that smelly... it doesnt really have much of a smell... so i really dont know whether you would consider this to be a good durian or not... haha... but it certainly satisfied my craving... haha i sound pregnant.... o well... see ya tmrw...
